Yallum Hill Project,

Western Australia.

The Yallum Hill Copper-Nickel Project is located ~350km north-east of Wiluna along the northern margin of the Yilgarn Craton in Western Australia.

The tenement covers a distinct magnetic anomaly which was thought to reflect either a nickel target within ultramafic rocks at the base of the mafic sill complex, or possibly copper mineralisation associated with an iron-rich hydrothermal system (IOCG).

EM surveying both in the air (VTEM) and on the ground (FLTEM) located a discrete bedrock conductor along the southern flank of the strong magnetic response reflecting possible clay alteration within the substrate, suggesting a possible supergene source above a magnetite rich base metal target below.

Similar responses are known to occur over some copper-gold deposits in the Eastern Succession of north-west Queensland.

Drilling of both the EM and magnetic targets will be undertaken in 2019 to provide proof of concept before further exploration work is considered for the surrounding area. Exploration work at Yallum Hill is being funded under the SAA with South32.
