Morrisey Well, Western Australia.

The Morrisey Well Project is located ~500km north of Perth WA within the Narryer Terrane, which recently became the focus of industry attention following the discovery of the Julimar nickel-copper-PGE deposit north of Perth (by Chalice Mining) which highlighted the untested nickel-copper-PGE potential of the western margin of the Yilgarn Craton.

The Morrisey project consists of four granted Exploration Licences (ELs) and one EL applications covering an area of ~1,000km².

During 2022 the initial three-hole drilling program provided much needed geological control in areas considered to have Ni-Cu-PGE potential. Three EM targets were tested by RC drilling confirming the presence of prospective host rocks (ultramafic units) within this high grade metamorphic terrane but no significant sulphides.

Drilling also identified thick sections (~60m) of coarsely crystalline magnetite at the Sandfly & Waterfall prospects.  Beneficiation test work (Davis Tube) was able to produce a premium product (Fe >70%) with very low impurities from a relatively coarse grind size (<75 microns) highlighting potential for possible magnetite resources. 

Gravity Surveys complete over six magnetite targets highlighted potential for further magnetite mineralisation within the prospect area.
